Pink dream in Atomic Kitty

Hello sweethearts!

Today I have a real treat for you! Review of a pink atomic "Kitty" dress and matching "Isabella" cardigan by Voodoo Vixen!

This is my first time collaborating with Voodoo Vixen and I must say WOW!! What a great brand! For you who are not familiar with this brand Voodoo Vixen is a vintage inspired label based in London, which infuses retro, pin-up and rockabilly styles with classic silhouettes to flatter the modern woman.  Their unique designs are influenced by the glamorous styles of the past, whilst following current trends and fashion movements.
So lets get started! First the "Isabella" cardigan in black and pink:

I love this cardi so much ♥♥♥ It is super soft and elastic so it stretches just perfectly to fit my figure and hug my curves! And it's the perfect lengh to fit wide swing dresses like "Kitty".

"Isabella" cardi features pink detailed cuffs, collar and waistband with button up front and detailed embroidery of super cute atomic cat which makes the perfect pair with my dress!
I like the details like the glossy buttons and the quality is fantastic

And now the "Kitty" dress!

I am a HUGE sucker for a well-executed novelty print, especially mid century atomic one! So when I saw this dress something in my head started singing "Hallelujah!!!"

It's PINK!!! A perfect shade of soft pink with wonderful glossy touch and dont get me started on a print! Talk about ultimate dress huh?! AND It has pockets!

I love eveything about this dress ♥♥♥ The details are charming, from the keyhole neckline to matching glossy belt and decorative buttons down the front! I am wearing it with a medium full pink petticoat :) The dress has a hidden zipper which is located just below my left hand.

The best part is that even though the dress has flattening knee-length fitted skirt it doesn't have a high waist like some dresses- you know, when your b♥♥bs and waist are at the same level and your torso looks shorter than it is ;)

And while I enjoyed my sweet macaroons I got a bunch of compliments on the dress from the people at pastry shop Slasta

As usual Im wearing size L/UK 14 and it fits like a glove so the sizes of a Voodoo Vixen are standard. I think this dress is perfect for a bigger busted ladies because it emphasizes the waistline, has a nice fall and it exudes elegance!

I am sincerely delighted with the quality and beauty of the choice, from dresses to cardigans, tops, playsuits, bottoms including plus size range! They have a great customer service so hop on to their web site and get yourself a perfect summer attire!

Custom made: Bettie Page Clothing inspired green dress

Hello sweethearts!

Today I am writing about my Bettie Page Clothing Iced Coffee inspired dress. When I saw Bettie Page Clothing Iced Coffee Full Circle Dress I was mesmerized by her color, pattern- everything! It was a dress made for me!

Buuuuut when I calculated the price and postage expenses my enthusiasm burst like soap bubble :(
So I decided to visit my fairy godmother- my seamstress
I show her the picture and she made a sketch, took my measures and told me how much material she need. So I went to Tex House (Portanova Osijek) and chose a dotted material in the sea of patterns.
This is the final result:

* Handbag by Woody Ellen

I chose a green fabric with small black polka dots, unfortunately it was not a good choice because it wrinkles A LOT. It was my first fabric shooping so I learned to check how material behaves before I buy it. My dress is not a full circle because I wanted it to be a little more sophisticated.

Last year at fall was a perfect day to do a photoshoot.

Standing in front of the only remaining composition of Narrow Gauge Railroad in Croatia, train which traveled in the 50's popularly called Ćiro.

It is a magic place, a piece of history hidden among ivy and fallen leaves

I am wearing a headpiece made by amazing woman and fellow blogger Miss Amy May

In total this dress cost me half price of the original and It fits like a glove!

For me It's a greater pleasure sometimes to look for a pattern, fabric and participate in the whole process of making what I imagined. I love the idea that my dress is unique and made for me :)

Sweet tooth by Milushka

Hello sweethearts!

Today's blog post is the sweetest ever and here is why:

I have a big sweet tooth and when I discovered this jewelry last year I was in love

The artist's name is Milushka, she is from Zagreb, Croatia.

She was raised in the best tradition of the Russian school of art and all of her life she was looking for a different creative expressions: classic painting, drawing, illustration, digital media and traditional crafts, including handicrafts , are only a small handful of things that she has been doing.

Looking at the world from the hedonist’ perspective,  Milushka thinks that we should not limit the enjoyment to the just one sensor :)

And since the sweets, especially chocolate, are considered to be the top hedonistic pleasure, she believes they deserve their place not only in the world of gastronomy, but in the world of adornment, because of their visual attractiveness and instant recognisability.

Milushka is overwhelmed with making hyper-realistic miniature pastry which looks tasty but has a sole purpose of ornamenting your finger or the top of your head, as well as teasing your imagination :)

Every piece of jewelry is handmade with love and devotion. Every piece is one of a kind ♥

I guess you you have already noticed how talented she is :)

Her work is very diverse, she makes braided bracelets, necklaces, earrings, head pieces, rings, pendants, ready-to-hang wall pictures in the shape of a macaroon, fruit, candy, cupcake, animal, donuts, ice cream, flower and many more.

And she makes custom orders!! You name it- she will make it!

So when I got my Lady Vintage Cream Cupcake Print Hepburn Dress I contacted Milushka to make me a custom jewelry.

I think it's a perfect match

Every piece is very original and convincing, makes me want to eat him how much tasty it looks ;)
I also have this cute cupcake earrings:

Milushka jewelry is not only beautiful but also very high quality and durable!
That is why I love to give it to my friends as a gift on a special occasions... And to me.. I love to reward myself with a cute and unique Milushka jewelry :D

Vintage classic with Lady Mayra

Hello sweethearts!

Today I have a little review for you, it is about Lady Mayra's Elsa dress.

Lady Mayra is an independent brand of alternative clothing from Bangkok that has been established for over 3 years, bringing the best in 40s and 50s reproduction and alternative style clothing, for women of all shapes and sizes! Lady Mayra offers a diverse range of unique and original designs and proudly dresses pin ups, rockabilly, goth, steampunk and rock n’ roll lovers worldwide. They combine new fashion trends with classic vintage styles and a splash of rock and roll!

This style is very popular and we can see why- it fits nicely to every figure, emphasizes curves and it exudes elegance!
Lady Mayra's Elsa dress comes in six different floral patterns and they are available in plus sizes too!
Although the brand is from Bangkok, Thailand measures are standard and they give wonderful instructions when ordering so you don't have to worry if your dress will fit you or not.

Elsa dress has a gorgeous sweetheart neckline that draws all eyes on you! The fitted top features an open bodice with bust inserts of shaped and gathered fabric to enhance the bust. At the back it runs into a "V" with classy folds that finish it off perfectly. From the waist down it runs into a flattering full circle skirt that hits just below the knee. I like to wear it with a 23" petticoat for a true vintage look.

It is made out of 100% premium soft and silky japanese cotton (the material does not stretch!) and finished off with a hidden zipper at the back which I prefer because I do my hair and make up first and hate to pull on a dress over my head when my hair is in place. What I love is that the material is so light that it can be worn in the summer!

Lady Mayra is all about creating a timeless sense of romance and glamour set against an unconventional background so if you find your style in a wide range od their offer don't hesitate! Lady Mayra is budget friendly and it will impress you!
